In Loving Memory of Bailey

17 Beautiful Years of Love

It is with hearts broken beyond words that we say goodbye to our beloved Bailey, who gave us 17 wonderful years of unconditional love, happiness, and joy.

Bailey was so much more than a dog. She was family, our constant companion, our source of comfort, and a beautiful soul who touched everyone she met. She was kind, sweet, gentle, loving, and fiercely loyal. She quite literally smiled, and she had the most beautiful smile that could brighten even the darkest day. Her smile was a reflection of the happiness and love she brought into our lives every single day.

Bailey was also a diva in every sense of the word and the undisputed monarch of our other fur babies, Quinn and Remington. She ruled her kingdom with grace, personality, and just the right amount of sass. She knew she was special, and we happily treated her like the queen she was. Now, she joins her beloved dog brother, Cooper, in heaven. They were the very best of friends, and we find comfort imagining them reunited, running together once again.

Bailey’s story began in a hoarding situation, where she was rescued and given a chance at a new life. From the moment she became part of our family, she showed us what unconditional love truly means. It felt as though every single day she was thanking us for saving her, but the truth is, she was the one who saved us in so many ways. She filled our home with love, laughter, companionship, and a happiness that cannot be measured.

She loved the outdoors, going for walks, meeting people, and making friends with absolutely everyone—whether they had two legs or four. She loved her beds, rolling around with pure happiness, and making her adorable little noises after eating or whenever excitement got the best of her. Those little quirks, her personality, and her unmistakable smile are the things we will treasure forever.

For five years, Bailey bravely battled renal disease. Through it all, she continued to be the same loving, joyful girl we had always known. We are forever grateful to the wonderful humans at The Spay and Neuter Clinic in North Hills, whose compassion, dedication, and care gave us five additional precious years with the best dog who ever lived. Those years were an incredible gift, and we will never forget what they made possible for our family.

Seventeen years may seem like a lifetime, but when it comes to a love like Bailey’s, it will never feel like enough. Our hearts are aching, and our home will never be quite the same without her. We will miss her smile, her happy noises, her gentle presence, her diva ways, and every little thing that made her uniquely Bailey.

Thank you, sweet girl, for 17 years of the purest love imaginable. Thank you for trusting us, for loving us, and for making our lives infinitely better simply by being in them. You were loved every second of your life, and you will be missed every second of ours.

Run free, beautiful Bailey. Rest peacefully, our sweet queen. Give Cooper a kiss for us, and know that someday we will find you again.

You may be gone from our arms, but you will forever live in our hearts.

Until we meet again, our best girl. ❤️
