It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye to our sweet Beans, a 9-year-old Lionhead rabbit who was just 1.5 pounds of personality and love.
Beans came into our family when he was young and spent all nine years of his life surrounded by the people and animals who loved him. He was a calm, gentle, and even-tempered little guy, remaining that way right through his senior years. He was also wonderfully independent and perfectly content to do his own thing—which, more often than not, involved eating hay, enjoying the occasional piece of banana, or patiently waiting for his nightly treat.
He loved spending time with his brother, Frank, another Lionhead, who sadly passed away in 2020. We hope they have found each other again and are together once more.
Beans is survived by his two dog brothers, Charlie and Mac. He especially enjoyed playing with Mac, and their friendship was such a special part of his life.
For nine years, Beans brought so much love, comfort, and happiness into our home. He may have been tiny, but he left a very big place in our hearts. We are so grateful that he had a long, happy life filled with love, good food, plenty of hay, and—most importantly—his nightly treats.
We will miss his sweet face, his quiet presence, and all 1.5 pounds of him more than words can say.
Rest peacefully, Beans.
