Blacky

d. Oct 9, 2026

Blacky was adopted into our family on April 6, 2016, when he was around 3–4 years old. We may never know much about his life before he came to us, but we know that from the day he became ours, he would always have a home and a family to love him.

For the next 10 years, Blacky filled our lives with love, cuddles, and his own unique personality. He loved to cuddle, absolutely hated rabbits, and loved bedtime more than just about anything. In fact, he made sure we knew when it was time to go to bed! It was one of those little things that made him who he was, and something we will always remember about him.

He wasn't just a dog; he was family, a companion, and a constant presence in our home. He gave us years of unconditional love, comfort, and memories that we will carry with us forever.

On October 9, 2026, Blacky crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully at home. Our hearts are broken, and our home will never feel quite the same without him. We hope the years he spent with us showed him just how loved and safe he was, and that he never had to wonder where he belonged.

Rest easy, Blacky. Thank you for all the cuddles, for keeping us on schedule at bedtime, and for being part of our family. You were so loved, and you always will be.
