Beloved cat of The Williams Family

With heavy hearts, we announce that our cherished companion, Chloé, crossed the rainbow bridge on Wednesday, July 9, surrounded by love and peace, in the comfort of her cherished safe space, her home.

Chloé came into our lives in 2012 and forever changed the family dynamic. Chloé shook things up from the very beginning, jumping down a laundry chute & hanging onto the wood frame until rescued by the kids once they arrived home from school. She became the little sister of a big cat and a big dog.

She was known for painful, funny quirks — e.g., random yet frequent love bites, biscuit-worthy needing on your lap, and attacking sleeping feet. She loved to share warmth, and defined the excuse, “I can’t move, there’s a cat on my lap.”

Whether it was hunting for cheese or watching out the windows, Chloé made every moment count. She also made moments more delicate with her dainty paws, slight frame, and pickyappetite.

Chloé outlived two other beloved family pets, and after being the sole (soul) pet for nineteen months, she began looking out the window when her folks returned from work. A care she did not previously bother with. This was a sign of loneliness, and we were encouraged to adopt a new dog. Thank you, Chloé, for ushering and welcoming the next family pet to be adopted! You were a good sister cat, adjusting to changes with panache. Thank you for being so wonderful and beautiful! For evolving your way of loving.

We are grateful for the years shared and the unconditional “I am here” energy that only a great pet can give. She will always be remembered, always loved, and never forgotten.

Run free, sweet Chloé. You were, and always will be, our tiny princess baby cat, our family.
