Gabby

February 14, 2014 — February 22, 2026

As we woke up this morning to watch Team USA take on Team Canada for the gold medal we were hit with such sadness. Brandon went to say good morning to Gabby, whose favorite place to sleep is under our bed, to find that she had peacefully passed overnight. 💔

Gabby has been a part of our family and our home for 11 years. Right after we moved into our house we decided this home needed a puppy so we went down to Animal Friends during their free adoption event and immediately fell in love 😍 they told us she was found as a stray and was 10 months old, although we always thought she was older than they said. As we waited our turn to meet her we found out the family in front of us was meeting with her and we just prayed we would get our chance to meet her because we knew she was ours. Our prayers were answered and we got to meet her and immediately were ready to take her home. She came home cone and all and was so loved for the rest of her life ❤️

She was the best but loudest puppy. She barked at every little noise and movement outside, a true protector of her humans. She loved to cuddle and always smiled with her bottom teeth hanging out; but don’t touch her food and treats because she loved to eat and did not want to be bothered when she was filling her belly 🦴

Gabby has had health issues the last year and a half with her knees going out, she had gone mostly blind, and was fighting chronic bronchitis so we know she has crossed the rainbow bridge and is running in heaven with no pain, no cough, and able to see the beautiful world around her. We know those bottom teeth are sticking out far as Gabby has the biggest smile on her face.

You will be missed so much down here and it won’t be the same to come home and you not be there to greet us at the top of the steps. We will love you forever and we will make sure Jewels is taken care of so you don’t have to worry about your best friend down here. We Love you Gabby 💔
