Sox E. Mamacita

In loving memory of Sox, an extraordinary kitty who was the soxiest, the mamaiest, and the best kitty cat. Sox was supposedly born on August 11, 2004, in Gainesville, Florida, and peacefully passed away on August 4, 2026, after bravely battling UTIs, lilies, and cancer.

Sox was a cherished companion and a beloved member of her family. Her feisty personality and zest for life left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Whether she was begging for food or indulging in her favorite pastimes of snuggling, or playing with silvervine, Sox enriched the lives of those around her with endless affection and being a menace. Her favorite foods included, boiled chicken, marinara sauce, and lactaid milk. 

Sox's life was a testament to the power of unconditional love. She always had something to say and always let it be known. She never bit or scratched anyone, preferring to make her displeasure be known by utilizing her resting kitty cat face. Her days were filled with simple pleasures, such as sitting on laps, watching TV, or playing video games. She took great delight in the company of her family, especially when she was choking out Robert in a playful manner, or snuggling with Catherine. Sox's presence was a constant source of comfort and joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love. Sox is survived by her younger sister, Wilhelmina Fanciest Pants, and her younger brothers, Eyelash Pig, Baby Pig, and Ollie Pig, who will forever treasure the memories of their time together. 

In honor of Sox's life, the family kindly requests that you hug your kitties. Sox will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will remain alive as she taught us what it means to be a cat. As we say goodbye, we celebrate the beautiful life she led.
